Deanna Stroud is a Canadian visual artist who creates contemporary oil paintings inspired by memory, nostalgia and everyday objects.  Working primarily in still life, her paintings explore the beauty of familiar subjects through bold color and careful composition.  Her work invites viewers to pause and reflect on the emotions, memories and personal connections that ordinary objects can hold.

She lives in Ontario with her three children, husband and dog, where she spends her days painting, studying, and finding inspiration in the ordinary moments that shape family life.
